Great & busy opening night of the Elisa Pesapane exhibition at Sanquin, Amsterdam.
A wonderful and very personal opening speech was made by Jorie Tijs, art consultant & cultural historian. She also gave background information on the exhibited works, moved all present with her words and was the talk of the evening.
The exhibition consists of oil paintings on panel, 1,5 meter high triptyches, the ‘Kissed by Aeolus’portrait project et al, all part of the vast ‘Contemporary Icons’ project, and series of monumental drawings on paper.
The exhibition can be vistited until march 27th on weekdays from 8.30-16.30
